'Pieces' was the first EP I released after signing with Something In Construction in February 2013. With a new label and a new 'era' of music, I wanted to develop an updated style to reflected the maturing of the music production.

The title artwork and the design for 'Peloton', the second track shared from the EP, were turned into short animations that were embedded alongside the music when it was premiered on blogs such as The Line Of Best Fit. The idea was to augment the design work and to create a sense of enhanced movement after listeners pressed play in their web browsers.

As part of the brief, the final animated gifs had to be compressed and optimised for quick browser downloading and email embedding.
